Experienced Forklift Driver required.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our busy logistics and warehousing team. This is a hands-on role involving the safe and efficient movement of goods in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have proven forklift operating experience, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse and yard
  • Safely stack and store products in designated areas
  • Operate Aisle Master equipment within narrow aisle warehouse environments
  • Use motorised pallet jacks for movement of goods
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and inventory control
  • Support stocktakes and manage shipping pallets and inventory records
  • Communicate with transport providers and assist with related administrative tasks
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintain machinery in good working condition
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site operational policies

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar forklift driver/storeperson role within a large warehouse environment
  • Valid New Zealand forklift operator’s certificate
  • At least 1 year of experience operating an Aisle Master (highly preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience using motorised pallet jacks (preferred)
  • Previous experience in logistics, freight, or warehousing
  • Inventory management experience, including stocktaking and pallet management
  • Basic computer skills and ability to carry out administrative tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with transport providers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, positive work ethic
