We are seeking a bookkeeper to join our busy team in Auckland. This is a full-time role (minimum of 30 hours a week).
The Role
Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

Complete day-to-day accounting functions

Prepare and file accurate GST and IRD returns
-
Monitor overdue and advise on any action required
-
Ensure customer invoices are entered accurately
-
Setup of new suppliers and customers in the system
-
Maintain correct financial records and monitor the balance sheet
-
Monitor cashflow
-
Process End of Month reports and statement
-
Process supplier invoices with purchase orders, resolve account queries, reconcile with supplier accounts, and process payments and filing.

Payroll processing
-
Assist with Annual Financial Accounts and Tax returns

Communicate with key internal stakeholders and report any irregularities
-
Any other finance work as required from time to time
Our successful applicants will have:

A Diploma in Accounting or at least three years of relevant work experience

Works well under pressure

Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional team

Highly responsible and reliable

Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers
