We are seeking a bookkeeper to join our busy team in Auckland. This is a full-time role (minimum of 30 hours a week).

The Role

Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

  • Complete day-to-day accounting functions

  • Prepare and file accurate GST and IRD returns

  • Monitor overdue and advise on any action required

  • Ensure customer invoices are entered accurately

  • Setup of new suppliers and customers in the system 

  • Maintain correct financial records and monitor the balance sheet

  • Monitor cashflow

  • Process End of Month reports and statement

  • Process supplier invoices with purchase orders, resolve account queries, reconcile with supplier accounts, and process payments and filing.

  • Payroll processing

  • Assist with Annual Financial Accounts and Tax returns

  • Communicate with key internal stakeholders and report any irregularities 

  • Any other finance work as required from time to time

Our successful applicants will have:

  • A Diploma in Accounting or at least three years of relevant work experience

  • Works well under pressure 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional team

  • Highly responsible and reliable

  • Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers

  • Honest, trustworthy & well presented
