R.K.G.J Limited are seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper
to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong accounting
administration experience who can efficiently manage financial records and support
the day-to-day financial operations of the business.


Key Responsibilities:
 Maintain accurate financial records and ensure accounts are balanced using
computerised accounting systems and accounting software.
 Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable
and receivable.
 Prepare invoices, purchase orders, payment schedules, and bank deposits.
 Reconcile accounts against monthly bank statements and investigate
discrepancies where required.
 Monitor cash flow, expenses, and lines of credit to assist with financial
management.
 Prepare financial reports, budget reports, expenditure summaries, and
account reconciliations for management.
 Verify recorded transactions and report any financial irregularities to
management.
 Maintain payroll-related financial records and ensure accuracy of financial
documentation.
 Assist in preparing documentation relating to business tax obligations,
including GST records and supporting information for accountants.
 Maintain proper filing and confidential handling of all financial documents and
records.
 Liaise with external accountants, suppliers, and other stakeholders as
required.
 Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and relevant New
Zealand regulations.

Skills and Experience Required:
 Relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 or above in Accounting, Finance,
Business Administration, or a related field; OR at least one years of relevant
work experience in bookkeeping or accounting support.
 Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial administration.
 Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
 Excellent communication and time management skills.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
