Sunrise Gold Investments Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee and manage residential and commercial construction projects in Auckland. This role involves full project lifecycle management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all phases of assigned construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, labour, and services in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Building Code, Resource Management Act, and health & safety legislation (HSWA 2015).
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project documentation, progress reports, and quality assurance records.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure project progress and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and team performance.

Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:

·       A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field; or at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in project management within the construction industry

·       Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects in New Zealand or overseas

·       Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

·       Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements in New Zealand

·       Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office

·       A commitment to maintaining a safe and positive work environment
