We are looking for a reliable and motivated Supervisor with experience in overseeing cleaning operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. Skilled in staff scheduling, training team members, monitoring cleaning performance, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

Description - 

• Supervising and coordinating daily cleaning operations and cleaning staff

• Assigning cleaning duties and preparing staff work schedules and rosters

• Inspecting work areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained

• Training new cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety standards

• Monitoring staff performance and providing guidance and support when required

• Ensuring proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies

• Maintaining inventory of cleaning materials and arranging replenishment when necessary

• Responding to client requests, complaints, and service-related issues professionally

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and company policies

• Conducting regular quality checks and reporting maintenance or safety concerns

• Assisting cleaning staff with duties during busy periods when required

• Maintaining records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and staff attendance

• Coordinating with management regarding operational requirements and staffing needs

• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and within required timeframes

• Promoting a positive and productive working environment within the cleaning team

 

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in commercial cleaning or cleaning supervision roles

• A relevant qualification in cleaning operations, hospitality, facility services, or housekeeping management will be highly preferred

• Completion of training or certification relating to cleaning chemicals, hazardous substances handling, infection control, or cleaning equipment operation is needed

• Sound knowledge of cleaning procedures, safe chemical handling, sanitation standards, and operation of commercial cleaning equipment

• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, hygiene standards, and safe work practices

• Ability to supervise staff, manage cleaning schedules, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced work environment

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

• Flexibility to work rostered shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by business operations

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling, lifting, standing for extended periods, and other physically demanding tasks

• Good communication skills and ability to follow workplace procedures and instructions

• The position is a 30 hours of work per week job
