We are looking for a Panel Beater to join our team in Auckland!

This is a full-time permanent role, with 40 hours per week.

The role is to repair damages to metal, plastic, and fiberglass body work on heavy vehicles, and forms replacement vehicle panels using machine or hand tools.

Duties involve removing damaged panels, fixing dents, using mechanical and hydraulic equipment to straighten and realign chassis and body frames. it is also ncessary to fill depressions with plastic fillers and file, grind and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.

To be qualified for this role, you need to demonstrate:

  • 2-3 years' relevant work experience
  • Attention to detail ensuring delivery of quality of product
  • Effective time management to ensure deadlines are met
  • Prioritise work and competing activities appropriately
  • Demonstrate cooperation, respect, consideration and tact in dealing with others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Listen effectively and provide approriate feedback.
