About the Role
As a Production Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring products are packed, handled, and stored in line with strict quality and compliance standards.
You will primarily support packing line operations, with the flexibility to assist in warehouse and other production functions depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packing equipment, using strong mechanical skills to keep operations running efficiently
- Run and oversee packing lines, including changeovers and basic fault-finding to minimise downtime
- Complete production records and documentation accurately to meet quality and compliance requirements
- Contribute to investigations, resolve issues, and support ongoing process improvements
- Support warehouse tasks (inwards, dispatch, stock control) and uphold high standards of safety, housekeeping, and hazard management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience operating machinery in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting
- Familiarity with working in controlled or compliance-driven environments (e.g. GMP) is beneficial
- High level of attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Confident using computer systems, including Microsoft Office (experience with SAP is an advantage)
- Good written communication and organisational skills, along with a valid forklift licence (reach truck experience preferred) and the physical capability to handle manual tasks up to 25kg
