An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tekla Detailer to join our team located in Auckland.

This is a full time position guarantee as least 30 hours per week.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the Steel Detailing Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software

  • Prepare, generate, edit and revise fabrication drawings and material lists from the models

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs

  • Use industry standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency of designs

  • Communicate with fabricators and contractors to ensure successful fabrication and construction of structures

  • Review and analyze project specifications, costs and requirements to ensure compliance

  • Participate in design and construction meetings as needed

  • Continuously update and improve skills and knowledge of Tekla Structures software and industry trends

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Tekla Structures software

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

  • Experience in creating detailed fabrication drawings for steel structures

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and architects

  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve design issues

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
