We are a New Zealand-based company delivering high-quality painting and coating services across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Location: Auckland region (various job sites), with occasional travel within the North Island (surrounding Auckland region).
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $30 – $33 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, and sanding and sealing surfaces

Selecting, mixing, and preparing paints and coatings

Applying paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
-
Working on commercial, industrial, and residential painting projects

Erecting and working from ladders and scaffolding as required

Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas

Handling and organising materials on-site

Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Requirements:

1 to 2 years of relevant painting experience in commercial, industrial, or residential environments

Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and able to follow instructions

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
-
Willingness to work on weekends (weather dependent)

Reliable transport to travel to different job sites
-
Good communication skills and professional presentation
