Gardener

As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards (but not limited to):

• Plant, water, weed, and fertilize garden beds, lawns, and other landscaped areas
• Prune and shape trees, bushes, and shrubs to maintain their health and attractiveness
• Monitor and identify pests and diseases, and apply treatments to prevent or control infestations
• Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored
• Maintain garden pathways, retaining walls, and other garden structures
• Maintain accurate records of all gardening activities, including planting schedules, fertilization routines, and pest management strategies
• Communicate with clients or property owners to understand their preferences and goals for the garden, and make recommendations as needed
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems and other watering equipment
• Monitor and manage soil health and make recommendations for soil improvement as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Managing Director

Qualification, Experience and Attributes Required

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
