About the role
We have opportunities available for Qualified Industrial Electricians and Supervisors For upcoming projects in the Hauraki District. These positions are responsible for the delivery of quality electrical installations ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems, automation, and high-tech plant and equipment in a demanding industrial environment. This involves the full lifecycle of industrial equipment, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and intricate system-level troubleshooting.
The role requires in-depth technical expertise in both electrical power and control systems to maximize production installation time and support commissioning processes.

Key responsibilities
- Quality Installation, inspection, and testing of electrical systems, including HV, LV & ELV installations.
- Execute conduit installations, cable pulls, and terminations for a variety of power and control circuits.
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, single line diagrams, ladder logic, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Conduct equipment calibration using specialized tools and software to ensure instrumentation accuracy.
- Configure and tune VFD parameters to optimize motor speed, torque, and energy efficiency for production processes.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace complex electronic hardware, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Current EWRB Registered Electrician licence
- Experience with cable containment, terminations, and electrical installations
- Ability to read plans and follow electrical drawings
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights where required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass pre-employment checks (including drug & alcohol testing)
- Strong communication skills and safety focus
