Two Junior Thai Massage Therapists Wanted.

Requirements 

The successful applicants must have one of the following requirements.

• At least 3 months of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A Thai Massage Qualification of 150 hours or more, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

Job Descriptions

• Provide massage on the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist in healing

• Exercise a variety range of Thai massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury

• Provide treatment to promote relaxation and improve circulation and relieve muscle tension

• Provide treatment for specific soft tissue dysfunction and provide advice on how to improve the clients’ condition

• Provide massage with other techniques such as hot stone, Thai aromatherapy and relaxing oil massage, to assist in recovery

• Assessing the clients’ physical conditions and history and provide advice on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques

Other detail 

• This is a full-time and permanent position

•The wage is between $25 and $30 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, with weekly payments.

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

• You will be working at 501A Mt Albert Road, Mt Roskill, Auckland

• You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
