Job Details:

Job Location: Auckland

Type: Permanent, Full time  

Days required: Rotating roster, including weekends 

Hours per week: 30 hours per week 

Hourly Pay: $30-$35 per hour  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs. 

  • Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers' instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors. 

  • Schedule client appointments. 

  • Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other  solutions.

  • Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics.

  • Develop new styles and techniques.

  • Clean, colour, cut and style wigs and hairpieces

  • Applies lather and shaves beard or shapes hair contour (outline) on temple and nec.

  • Give facial massage and hair and scalp treatment.

  • Threading

  • Shaving beard with razor using hot towel
