KIARA & VIRAT 2022 ENTERPRISES LIMITED is seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team in Putaruru, Waikato. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, motivated, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Key Duties: 

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manual and computerised diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, exhaust, and cooling systems.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing including oil and filter changes, fluid top-ups, battery testing, and general vehicle inspections.
  • Conduct road tests to assess vehicle performance and confirm repairs have been completed effectively.
  • Remove, repair, and reassemble mechanical components and engine parts as required.
  • Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to assist with repairs and servicing.
  • Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues, recommended repairs, and estimated completion timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and workshop documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and will be paid between $30 and $40 per hour.

Other important requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience or a minimum relevant Level 4 qualification is required
  • A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record is required
  • Available to work on weekends
  • Reliable, proactive, and hardworking attitude.
