New One Electrical Ltd is a well-established and stable company specializing in comprehensive electrical service within the Auckland Region. The company provides a wide range of services, including the installation, connection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, as well as the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of related electronic systems and equipment such as residential alarm systems, smart home systems, audio and visual systems, and CCTV systems. 

We are looking for candidates who have:

At least two years of proven working experience 

Or relevant NZQF Level 4 Qualification or equivalent 

Knowledge of electronic, electrical, and low-voltage systems 

Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs on electronic and control systems

Understanding of residential and commercial installation environments

Good communication and customer service skills 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements 

Key Responsibilities:

Examining, testing, and diagnosing faults in electronic security systems, CCTV systems, alarm systems, smart home systems, home theatre equipment, audio visual systems, and related electrical equipment 

Installing, configuring, commissioning, and maintaining CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, intercom systems, smart home automation systems, audio visual systems, and electronic control equipment 

Adjusting, repairing, and replacing defective components, wiring, cables, devices, and electronic equipment to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently 

Reassembling, tesing, operating, and calibrating electronic equipment and systems following repairs, servicing, or installations 

Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, fault-finding, and troubleshooting for residential and commercial electronic and electrical systems

Installing and maintaining data cabling, network equipment, and integrated smart technology systems for homes and businesses

Assisting with electrical installation work associated with new residential builds, renovation projects, and commercial fit-outs where required

Monitoring system performance and ensuring installed systems comply with safety standards, technical specifications, and client requirements 

Advising clients on the correct operation and maintenance of electronic security systems, smart home systems, and audio visual equipment to minimise malfunctions and improve system performance

Competitive pay range: $30-$40 per hour based on skills and experience 

Flexible working location: Auckland Region Projects 

Guaranteed minimum working hours: 30 hours per week, may require work on Saturday
