West Auckland based construction company is looking to hire 2 scaffolders for current projects.

As a scaffolder, you will be working a minimum 30 hours per week on a roster. (5 days a week)

Main duties: 

  • Assisting in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding, under the direct supervision; 
  • Loading and unloading scaffolding from trucks, using forklifts; 
  • Calculating loadings and designing a suitable scaffold structure for each situation; 
  • Checking worksites for hazards; 
  • Ordering and coordinating the transport of scaffolding components; 
  • Erecting scaffold structures; 
  • Regularly inspecting scaffolding for safety and making alterations and repairs as needed; 
  • Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment; 
  • Taking down the scaffolding after a job finished.

About you:

  • At least one year of scaffolder experience.
  • NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification may substitute the work experience. 
  • Full class 1 license.
  • Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) minimum English language requirements.
