Employment type: Full-time (Minimum 30 hours per week Guaranteed)
Minimum hourly rate: $30.00
Maximum hourly rate: $35.00

Role Description

You will be responsible for driving an agitator truck/concrete truck to transport ready-mix cement or special cement mixes to various construction sites.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities

The person in this role will be required to:

• Drive a Class 4 truck.
• Safely operate an agitator truck/concrete truck.
• Deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Ensure the correct delivery of ready-mix cement or special cement mixes as per client specifications.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures while on the job.
• Accurately log driving hours, daily job sheets, and timesheets.
• Ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, site managers, and other relevant personnel to coordinate deliveries.
• Deliver and pick up goods from places advised by the contracted company.
• Provide paperwork for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
• Wash the truck.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• At least 1 year of concrete truck driving experience on a truck with manual Road ranger gearbox.
• A clean Class 4 driving licence.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment and medical checks.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 kg.
• Must be able to provide previous work references.
• Must be available to work on weekends and on-call when required.
