Job Details:
Position: Retail manager
Term: Permanent
Minimum Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week from Monday to Sunday
Salary: $31.00—$32.00 per hour
Place: Auckland
Duties and Responsibilities:

Organising and controlling the daily operations of the retail stores specializing in home textile products, including blankets, artificial flowers, decorative crafts and household items and others

Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards to meet customer demand and business objectives;

Formulating and implementing purchasing, pricing and marketing strategies for home furnishing and textile products;

Promoting and advertising the store’s products and services through in-store displays, and promotional campaigns;

Monitoring sales performance and analysing customer preferences to improve product selection and store profitability;

Maintaining records of stock levels, supplier orders, sales transactions

Undertaking budgeting, cost control and sales target management for the establishment;

Managing supplier relationships and coordinating purchasing and delivery schedules;

Recruiting, training, supervising and rostering staff to ensure efficient store operations and high customer service standards;

Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean retail environment;

Handling customer enquiries, complaints and after-sales service to maintain customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:

2 year relevant working experience is required or relevant qualification

Be flexible towards working hours, especially working on weekends

Mature, responsible, strong can work under pressure and under the sunshine.
