Swachh Group Limited is a busy commercial cleaning company. We have Service Manager position available with an immediate start-based in Auckland. Our company is looking for someone reliable and ready to progress with our company. The job involves managing relationship with our customers and maintaining and overseeing that our high standards are maintained by our cleaning staff. This job may involve working in evening and late nights. You have to lead and motivate a team of commercial cleaners’ player with attention to detail and maintain the high standards of customer service. You should have at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or at least 1 year of proven experience in a supervisory role or a similar managerial role in the commercial cleaning industry. 

Position Purpose: The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of cleaning and property maintenance services across multiple client sites within the assigned region. You will be required to do planning and implementing after-sales services to follow up customer satisfaction, ensure performance of goods purchased, and modify and improve services provided

The role ensures service quality, operational efficiency, workforce coordination, Health & Safety compliance, and client satisfaction. You will also be dealing with clients face to face and we expect you to have good interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple sites. 

  • Ensuring services are delivered to contractual and company standards.

  • Developing and reviewing policies, programs and procedures concerning customer relations and goods and services provided. 

  • Conducting site Audits and quality checks and ensuring operational efficiency.

  • Acting as the main point of contact for client service matters.

  • Planning and implementing after-sales services to follow up customer satisfaction, ensure performance of goods purchased, and modify and improve services provided. 

  • Managing client relationships and resolving service issues. 

  • Coordinating supervisors, cleaning teams, and subcontractors. 

  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and staff supervision. Providing direction and feedback to team members and assisting with recruitment. 

  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance across all sites. 

  • Coordinating subcontracted services. Liaising with other organisational units, service agents and customers to identify and respond to customer expectations. 

  • Monitoring subcontractor performance and service quality. 

  • Preparing operational reports for management. 

  • Supporting mobilisation of new contracts and business growth

The role requires regular travel between client sites and oversight of multiple operational locations within the assigned region.

To be considered for this role you should have Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or at least 1 year of proven experience in a supervisory role or a similar managerial role in the commercial cleaning industry. 

You should be able to provide previous verifiable work references.

Preference will be given to candidates who are already in New Zealand and has relevant work experience.

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice/Police check when required.
