We are currently looking for one full-time Site Supervisor to join our
committed, hardworking team at Impact Outdoors South Island Limited.
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week and a maximum of
45 hours/week.

Qualification/Work Experience
You will be required to demonstrate that you have two - three years of
experience in a similar work environment.
Role Purpose
As a Site Supervisor for Impact Outdoors, you will be responsible for the on-
site execution of premium outdoor living projects. You will bridge the gap
between design and installation, ensuring that high-end structures—such as
automated louvres, fixed canopies, and architectural pergolas—are installed to
the highest standards, and renovations are completed on time and within
budget. You will coordinate human and material resources, ensuring all
projects are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with New Zealand
building regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Technical Support
Collaborate during the pre-installation phase to plan site logistics and
organize on-site activities.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering specifications,
and site plans for custom outdoor solutions.
Identify and coordinate the necessary human resources (installers,
fabricators) and material requirements (aluminum components, LED
lighting, blinds) for each project.
2. Site Supervision & Workflow Management
Coordinate Site Programs: Manage the daily schedule of works to
ensure seamless transitions between site preparation, structural
installation, and final finishing.
On-site Supervision: overseeing the installation team and
subcontractors to ensure technical accuracy and efficiency.
Timeline Control: Ensure every stage of the installation—from initial
footings to final remote-control programming—is started and completed
according to the project timeline.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Inspect Work & Materials: Conduct rigorous inspections of materials
upon arrival and work-in-progress to ensure compliance with company
specifications and NZ Building Codes.
Regulatory Standards: Ensure all structures meet local regulations,
including weatherproofing and structural integrity standards for the
Christchurch climate.
Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to management,
documenting milestones and any deviations from the original plan.
4. Health, Safety & Administration
Safety Leadership: Enforce strict adherence to Health and Safety
regulations on-site, including the correct use of PPE and specialized
installation equipment.
Manpower Distribution: Monitor and control the distribution of labor
across multiple sites in the South Island to optimize productivity.
Administrative Support: Assist with site-related administrative tasks,
including verifying delivery dockets, assisting with progress
claims/invoices, and managing site-specific payments.
