We are looking for an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic / Heavy Diesel Technician to join our busy Auckland workshop. This role involves servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy diesel trucks and trailers to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Service and maintain heavy diesel trucks and trailers
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and hydraulic repairs
  • Complete workshop job cards and maintenance records
  • Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

Requirements

  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 2–5 advantageous)
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and motivated attitude
