Our teams across New Zealand are seeking to employ staff at the peak of season and are a significant local contributor to the community.

We are looking for Slaughterers for the upcoming season. We are seeking candidates to work for our plants in

  • Te Aroha, Waikato
  • Dargaville, Northland 
  • Waitotara and Hawera, Taranaki
  • Pacific and Takapau, Hawkes Bay

Job requirements:

  •  A team player who can work closely with others.
  •  Must have two years of relevant work experience 
  •  Be eligible to work in New Zealand

Working arrangements:

  • Earn a minimum of $815.40 to $864.60 gross per week.
  • Minimum 30 hours per week
  • Shift times vary from 5.50am to 3.30pm and 2.50pm to 12.00am depending on site location
  • We pay a minimum of $27.18 hourly and maximum of $28.82 hourly

Job Duties:

Processing duties and tasks including but not limited to the following

  • Stunning livestock 
     
  • Preparing carcasses for processing 
     
  • Removing and processing internal organs and hides 
     
  • Cutting and trimming meat 
     
  • Maintaining hygiene and safety standards
