Amber Nails Limited is a well-established beauty and nail salon located in the
Sylvia Park Shopping Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. We pride ourselves on providing professional, high-quality nail and beauty services in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our team is passionate about customer care, attention to detail, and helping clients look and feel their best. We are now on the hunt for a talented and motivated Beauty Salon Manager to join our team.

The minimum and maximum rate of pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour (before tax).

The minimum guaranteed hours of work per week: 30 hours.

The maximum hours of work per week: 40 hours.

* Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the salon to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Determine optimal product mix and stock levels appropriate to shop’s offering.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and financial transactions.
- Ensure timely ordering and delivery of stock based on seasonal trends and customer demand.

- Advise customers on beauty services and products, making recommendations based on preferences.
- Ensure that all customer service standards are met or exceeded.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Implement and manage local marketing and promotional campaigns to attract customers.
- Develop and execute advertising strategies across digital and in-store platforms.
- Recruit, train, and supervise salon staff.
- Monitor and manage staff performance, schedules, and workload.
- Undertake budgeting and cost control for the salon.
- Set pricing strategies to optimise profitability.
- Ensure that the salon operate in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regularly safety checks and staff training on hygiene and safety protocols.

* Minimum qualification and work experience requirements:
- At least a relevant NZQF Diploma Level 5 qualification or a higher relevant qualification in Business Management or Administration; OR
- At least three years of managerial experience in beauty salon environment.

* Other requirements:
- Good communication and customer service skills.

-Flexible to work with a rotating roster, inlcuding late nights, weekends and public holidays.

-Attention to detail and knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.

-Ability to work effciently and independently.
