Grocery Retailing Industry
The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the business growth and market positioning of the Employer within the grocery retailing sector. The role is responsible for coordinating and implementing strategic marketing initiatives, digital engagement activities, customer retention strategies, and AI-assisted promotional campaigns to strengthen brand visibility, customer acquisition, and commercial performance across both in-store and online retail channels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate promotional campaigns, seasonal marketing activities, and digital advertising initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and support retail business growth.
· Support the development of customer engagement strategies across online and in-store retail channels, including loyalty programs, social media activities, and digital customer communications.
· Analyse sales trends, customer purchasing behaviour, and market performance data to identify commercial opportunities and support informed business decisions.
· Utilise AI-assisted analytics tools and reporting platforms to evaluate campaign effectiveness, customer engagement performance, and retail marketing outcomes.
· Liaise with suppliers, digital service providers, advertising partners, and external stakeholders regarding product promotions, cooperative campaigns, and marketing activities.
· Assist with the coordination of e-commerce promotional activities and online product visibility strategies to support digital retail growth.
· Prepare marketing performance reports, promotional analysis, and customer trend summaries for management review and operational planning purposes.
· Coordinate the creation and implementation of promotional materials, digital content, product advertising, and in-store marketing displays to improve customer experience and sales conversion.
· Maintain consistent branding, promotional standards, and customer communication materials across retail operations and online platforms.
· Monitor campaign performance, customer engagement metrics, and sales reporting data, and recommend improvements to enhance marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
· Contribute to improving digital marketing processes and communication workflows through the use of emerging technologies and AI-supported automation tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field;
OR
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in marketing, retail marketing, digital promotion, customer engagement, or related commercial fields.
- Experience with AI-assisted marketing tools, digital analytics platforms, or online promotional systems is preferable.
- Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
