About the role:
Oversee and deliver civil construction projects, from road rehabilitation, commercial site works, retaining walls and subdivision developments predominantly around the Central Otago/Southern Lakes area. You will be responsible for planning and organising people and plant to maximise utilisation and returns, while upholding quality management and customer satisfaction. This role requires a split between site and office-based work.

Role Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Estimations and tendering.
  • Managing multiple contracts simultaneously, leading crews and subbies for successful contract delivery.
  • Contract administration.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, health and safety and industry regulations.
  • Prove accurate reporting on financials, progress and variations.
Skills & Experience:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
  • 5+ years civil contracting experience, strength in road construction advantageous.
  • Confident & effective communication skills with people of different levels.
  • Proven ability managing and deliver contracts on time, within budget.
  • Ability to lead by example, driving safety, quality & performance.
