Position Title: Retail Floor Worker
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Manawatū-Whanganui
Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour 
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week (may include night shifts, weekends, and public holidays)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the petrol station, including assisting with purchases and enquiries.
  • Operate POS system, handle cash, EFTPOS, and fuel transactions accurately.
  • Replenish shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly and correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop, forecourt, and service areas.
  • Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers where required.
  • Perform stock checks and report low inventory levels.
  • Follow health & safety procedures, including handling hazardous materials safely.
  • Ensure security procedures are followed, especially during night shifts.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties of the store.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers at all times.
