CVB Carriers Limited is a well-established business offering a competitive yet high standard of HIAB transportation service covering Auckland, from Pokeno to Mangawhai. 

We are seeking an experienced Class 4 Truck Driver (HIAB Operator) to join a small friendly team in Auckland. This is a full-time permanent position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. The ideal applicant will be paid between $30 to $34 per hour.

This role involves the safe and efficient transport of goods, operation of truck-mounted cranes, and maintaining a high standard of customer service on every job. 

The duties include but are not limited to:

  •         Operate a Class 4 truck safely
  •         Operate a HIAB (truck-mounted crane) to load and unload palletised goods and general       freight
  •         Secure loads correctly and follow all load-handling procedures
  •         Delivering goods to customer sites in a timely and professional manner
  •         Complete daily vehicle checks, maintenance logs, and report any defects promptly
  •         Following all health and safety procedures
  •         Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logbook

 

The right candidate must have:

  •         A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  •         Hold a current full New Zealand class 4 driver’s licence (or international equivalent)
  •        HIAB certification and proven experience operating truck-mounted cranes
  •         Clean driving record
  •        Flexibility to work overtime or the occasional weekend day if required

  •         Fantastic customer service skills
  •         Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including working in various weather conditions
  •         Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test with random drug and alcohol testing undertaken
