Courier Driver

Job Title: Courier Driver

Courier driver required for one of the fast-paced company. We are one of Post Haste Contractor looking for a courier driver to assist with deliveries for our residential and business customers.
We are looking for someone to work Full Time Monday to Sunday on Rostered basis with 1-2 days off.

You will be responsible for:
•    Arriving in depot on time to sort out the freight
•    Secure load in good manner and arrange it properly to deliver easily.
•    Delivering the stuff on time
•    Comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies etc
•    conduct daily inspection of the vehicle.
•    Driving vehicle in a safe and professional manner
•    Driver must be responsible for secure load and deliver on timely manner.
•    Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel to benefit the business.
•    Any other tasks asked from time to time

Skills we require:
•    Two years relevant work experience required
•    Class 1 driving license required or equivalent overseas license
•    General good health and physical ability and ability to pass drug test.
•    Well organised and passionate for the job
•    Must have clean criminal history.
•    Must be reliable and ability for long term commitment.
•    Must be able to work on weekends, public holidays etc

Other Details:
•    Pay Rate: From $26 to $30 based on work experience.
•    Minimum Hours per week: Min 30 hours – max 60 Hours
•    Workdays: Mon to Sunday with 1-2 days off
•    Work Hours: 6 am to 5 pm
•    Location: Palmerston North
•    Number of positions: 01
