K Beauty is a premier beauty salon with existing locations in Royal Oak and Avondale. We require 2 x Nail and Beauty Technicians to help fill gaps in our existing workforce and service our growing client base.

Role: Permanent Full Time

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week

What you will do

  • Discussing client needs for manicure/ pedicure
  • Performing manicures including decorative nail art, application of artificial
    nails, nail repair and other specialists hand treatments
  • Receiving bookings, arranging appointments and maintaining client records
  • Providing advice on and selling nail care products
  • Other beauty care tasks as you gradually gain your experience

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Nail Technician and/or Beauty Therapist; or
    A relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Must be able to work on Thurs, Fri and weekend and; late nights
  • Follow client and manager instructions
  • Experience with Acrylic nails
  • Previous Nail Technician Experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with waxing
  • Eyelash extension experience
  • Being able to speak a second language
  • Having a driver license
