We are seeking a hands-on, confident HR Advisor to lead ER matters and advance your HR career

This is an on-site position in Southland, our client isn't able to support a hybrid working model.

About the role:
Support operational leadership across all HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and training. Partner closely with managers to build capability, provide practical guidance, drive engagement across the workforce.
Reporting to the CPO, you will work closely with leaders and key stakeholders across the business, contributing to a positive workplace culture through clear communication, sound judgement, and a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
Role Responsibilities / Duties:
- Advise leaders on ER matters and investigations
- Support recruitment for operational sites
- Coordinate inductions and training programs
- Deliver engagement initiatives and workshops
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights
About You:
This role requires a strong communicator who can build trust and credibility at all levels, with the confidence to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism. You will take a proactive, solutions-focused approach, working both independently and collaboratively to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and 3 years of operational HR experience at an Advisory level.
- Hands-on experience supporting ER investigations & conflict resolution
- Proven advisory level Generalist HR experience in a fast-paced operational setting
- Skilled in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Confident advising and coaching managers
Requirements to Apply:
- Valid NZ work visa, permanent residency or NZ citizenship
- Prepared to under-go pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
