We are BTG 2018 Ltd, an Auckland-based importer, wholesaler, and distributor of a wide range of consumer products, including dollar-store merchandise, household goods, giftware, stationery, kitchenware, seasonal products, and other everyday retail items. We supply our diverse product range to retail stores and businesses throughout New Zealand. We are currently seeking an Warehouse Manager to join our growing team.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate the supply, storage, and distribution of imported goods across New Zealand
• Develop, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and procedures
• Prepare and execute stock control plans to maintain required inventory levels at minimum operational cost
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, pricing, and delivery requirements
• Operate and oversee recording systems to track all stock movements, ensuring timely re-ordering and restocking
• Liaise with sales teams, logistics providers, and customers regarding dispatch schedules and delivery requirements
• Lead, supervise, and monitor warehouse staff performance, providing guidance and training as required
• Ensure timely provision and distribution of products to meet customer and client demands

Qualifications/Experience

Applicants for this role should have:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Strong organisational and inventory management skills
  • Proven ability to manage supply chains and control stock efficiently
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external stakeholders

Pay Rate: $29 – $34 per hour (depending on experience)
