The Job

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive and organised Wholesale Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day wholesale operations of the business, managing supplier and customer relationships, coordinating product sourcing, inventory and distribution activities, and ensuring the efficient delivery of products and services to customers throughout New Zealand. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting business growth, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring high standards of customer service.

This is a full-time permanent position with at least 32.5 hours per week. Work days will be from Monday to Friday and hours will be between 9:00am and 4:00pm. The pay rate will be between NZD $38 and $40 per hour.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop wholesale business opportunities for electronic and technology products.
  • Manage wholesale operations, customer accounts, sales activities and supplier relationships.
  • Liaise with local and overseas suppliers regarding product sourcing, orders, shipments and distribution arrangements.
  • Coordinate pricing, product ranges, stock control and trading arrangements with customers and suppliers.
  • Monitor sales performance, customer demand and operational activities, and report to management.
  • Oversee customer service, product information and after-sales support processes.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day wholesale and distribution operations of the business.


Job Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification is essential, as the role requires strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • At least 6 months of relevant work experience in wholesale operations, sales, customer service or business support.
  • Knowledge of electronics or technology relevant to the field would be considered advantageous, but is not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in communication and customer service.
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
