Transport Manager

Minimum hours – 30/week. Maximum hours 48/week. You will be required to work a flexible full-time schedule to coordinate our 24/7 shift rotations. This position requires working on some weekends and being available on-call to handle operational demands. A clean, full driver’s licence is mandatory, and you may be requested to provide a clean police record.

Qualification/Work Experience

To be successful you must have a minimum of 2- 3 years of work experience within the
transport and freight industry.

Your daily task will include-

- Organizing the procurement, routine maintenance, servicing, and fuelling of our trucks and related equipment.
- Processing incoming transport orders, managing bookings, and establishing efficient delivery timelines for both morning and evening shifts.

- Ensuring that all cargo is securely handled, stored, and transported under conditions that preserve freight quality.
- Maintaining accurate operational records, tracking driver hours, and preparing comprehensive business performance reports.
- Manage rosters, records, time sheets, invoices, other financial documents etc.
- Coordinate advertising, hiring, training, and performance of drivers, resolve complaints and escalate matters when required.
- Coordinating site activities related to planning and implementing the schedules of arrival, departure, loading, and unloading of cargo and vehicles at the distribution hubs.
- Supervising and train our team of drivers to ensure strict adherence to all workplace health and safety regulations.
