  • Testing database systems, ICT platforms and system upgrades, including debugging,
tracking, reproducing, logging and resolving identified issues in accordance with
approved testing scripts, procedures and quality assurance processes.
  • Accepting responsibility for the operational management of system security
processes, disaster recovery planning, backup procedures, incident response and
    ongoing security controls.
  • Liaising with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external technical
resources to assess security risks, recommend suitable solutions, install and

  • Analysing, recommending, installing, configuring and maintaining software security
applications, monitoring tools, firewall systems, endpoint protection, access controls
    and other ICT security solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and providing service support in diagnosing, resolving and repairing
server-related hardware and software issues, including issues affecting workstations,
communication infrastructure, network devices and related ICT equipment.
  • Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, policies, operating instructions,
system logs, security records and detailed operational procedures.
  • Monitoring network performance, server performance, system availability and
security events to identify operational risks, faults, vulnerabilities and areas for
    improvement.
  • Ensuring that the design and configuration of computer sites, servers, network
devices and related infrastructure allow all components to operate securely,
    efficiently and reliably together.
