About the Role
Sagi Jewellers Limited is seeking a creative and skilled Tattoo Artist to join our team in Auckland. The successful applicant will be responsible for consulting with clients, designing custom tattoos, and applying tattoos in accordance with industry standards, hygiene requirements, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Consulting with clients regarding tattoo designs, placement, size, colour, and style preferences.
• Preparing original tattoo designs and modifying existing artwork to meet client requirements.
• Advising clients on tattoo suitability, aftercare requirements, and expected healing processes.
• Applying tattoos using professional tattooing equipment and techniques.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, sterilisation, and infection control procedures.
• Preparing and sterilising equipment, needles, and workstations before and after procedures.
• Maintaining client records, consent forms, and treatment documentation.
• Monitoring stock levels of tattoo supplies, inks, needles, and equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and local authority requirements.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional client relationships.
• Keeping up to date with current tattoo trends, techniques, and industry developments.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have either:
• A relevant qualification in Tattooing, Body Art, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field; OR
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Tattoo Artist.

• Experience in a variety of tattoo styles and techniques.
