We are looking for 3 vehicle painters to join our friendly team, in a well established business located in Onehunga, Auckland.

You will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to perform on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $28-$35 based on experience and ability, as well as addition qualifications.

The job will require the candidate

• Preparing paint to desired colour and consistency 
• Preparing spraying equipment such as cleaning or adjusting spray gun 
• Cleaning vehicle and prepare the vehicle surface to be painted 
• Masking glass and other appropriate areas prior to application of paint with spray gun or brush 
• Managing environmental hazards in the paint bay and workplace
• Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicle

The right candidates must have

 ·        Either at least two years of relevant experience or NZQCF Level 4 qualification.

·        Good communication and professional skills.

·        Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking.

·        Keen to work well within a team setting.

·        Great attention to details.

·        Strong desire to learn new technology
