We are looking for a Business Deve;opment Manager to join our team. 

 

As  a  Business Development Manager; you will be responsible to drive strategic growth initiatives, develop new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and lead sales and market expansion activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving revenue targets, enhancing brand presence, and supporting the organisation's long-term business objectives.

 

  Main Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement business development, sales, and marketing strategies to achieve revenue growth and market expansion objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and key accounts.
  • Establish sales targets and monitor performance to maximise customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and execution of commercial proposals, contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen brand awareness, customer loyalty, and market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate business plans, pricing strategies, and market penetration initiatives.
  • Prepare and present business performance reports, sales forecasts, and growth strategies to executive management.
  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of sales and business development teams to ensure achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, trade exhibitions, networking forums, and client meetings.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organisation's reputation and corporate image within the marketplace

Qualification,  Experience and Skills Required: 

 

Must have atleast two or more years of proven experience in similar role or New Zealand diploma or higher qualification. A team member must have good communication skills and also time management skills  

 

Pay rate per hour:

 

Minimum - $27.80 per hour

Maximum - $38.00 per hour

 

Hours of work per week:

 

Minimum - 30 hours per week

Maximum - 40 hours per week
