We are family-owned gold kiwifruit growing company based in Paengaroa since 2016. We are looking to expand our business further and we are looking for new staff member to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to safely operate, drive and maneuver any machinery such as tractors, spraying units related to spraying, tractors with bin trailers
  • Operating tractor for mulching, fertilizer, ground hogging, etc.
  • Operate agricultural and horticultural plant to clear and cultivate land, and sow and harvest crops.
  • Cleaning all machinery and ensuring maintenance.
  • Ordering and handling sprays.
  • Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • An enthusiastic and hard-working approach to work.
  • Performing minor repairs on tractors and other equipment, as needed.
  •  Mechanical experience will be beneficial.
  • Other duties as may be required

What We Offer:

Pay Rate: $ 25-$30 per hour.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Successful applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years relevant work experience or a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Must be available to work weekends, after hours or on public holidays, if needed.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to do additional work, if needed.
  • Willing to go through drug and/or medical test.
