We are seeking a Service Manager to take responsibility for overseeing our cleaning business operations in the Christchurch. The role is full time with garanteed 30 hours a week. you will be paid between $30-$35 In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, maintaining service quality, supervising staff, and supporting the continued growth and development of the business.

 

You will be required to do the following:

·         Promoting and selling goods and services, selling these services to potential clients that need cleaning services.

·         Observing rules and requirements for cleaning staff, employees, and observing good practice around the handling of equipment and chemicals.

·         Developing and reviewing policies, programs and procedures concerning customer relations and goods and services provided

·         Promoting facilities, conferences, conventions and trade shows to potential customers

·         Organising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel, and transporting goods

·         Controlling the selection, training and supervision of staff

·         Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and observing best practice with cleaning chemicals and SDS Sheets

·         You should be personable, and able to engage with clients, customers, and staff to ensure smooth operation of the business.



You will be requried to have the following:

A relevant level 5 diploma or higher In commerce/management/or equivalvent or at least two years of relevant experience.
Ideally, some experience in cleaning or knowledge of the industry would be ideal.
