Support the HR Manager in generalist HR functions along with payroll for a global team with a well scoped road map of internal progression and growth
We are seeking a proactive and eager HR Coordinator to join our Christchurch based client. This is an incredible opportunity for an eager HR professional to kick-start and progress their career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that offers long term development and progression.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of HR functions across the business. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders within the business to ensure people processes are delivered seamlessly, accurately, and in line with best practice. You’ll get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting your HR Manager across the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding to payroll and more!
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a professional, approachable manner. You’ll be highly organised, efficient, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. A collaborative mindset, discretion, and a commitment to delivering timely, high-quality work are essential. You’ll be enthusiastic about continuing to learn and upskill your knowledge to ensure continuous improvement across the business. You’ll thrive in a busy environment and enjoy being a go-to person for HR support.
SKILL SET:
- Relevant HR qualification and/or hands-on experience in an HR or related position.
- Solid understand of HR best practices across recruitment, employee relations, performance, and compliance.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills across all levels.
- Proficient in HR/payroll systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
