Adventurers & Assoistes Limited is looking for a full time Store Manager to work in our busy store. You will be working on rostered shift including weekends and public holidays. The role will suit someone who is passionate about customer service. Payrate will be $28 to $32 per hour on a 30 hours shift per week. Job Description As Retail Manager, we are looking for an honest, reliable, time punctual individual. You will be responsible for the overall operations and performance of the store, ensuring high standards in customer service, team leadership, merchandising, and financial performance. Key duties include: • Leading, coaching, and managing store staff to deliver excellent service. • Overseeing daily operations including ordering stock, inventory control, and merchandising. • Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & wellbeing and all workplace regulations. • Monitoring sales performance, budgets, and store profitability. • Developing and implementing store promotional and marketing activities. • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers and community stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and mentor frontline and support staff. • Plan and coordinate work schedules and staffing to meet customer demand. • Implement loss prevention procedures and manage shrinkage control. • Ensure store presentation, pricing and stock levels meet company standards. • Review and respond to customer feedback and resolve issues promptly. Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have: • At least 2 years of relevant managerial experience in retail or grocery.  • Proven leadership skills managing teams in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Knowledge of retail systems (POS/cash-handling, inventory software). • Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required. • Right to work in New Zealand (citizens, residents, or work visa holders).
