Chapter Lead – Delivery
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Position: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chapter Lead – Delivery to lead our delivery practice and support the successful delivery of projects and products across multiple teams. This is a full-time (40 hours), permanent position - a leadership role responsible for driving delivery excellence, promoting agile best practices, and ensuring alignment between delivery outcomes and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters
- Champion Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices
- Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders to align delivery activities with business goals
- Oversee delivery governance, project planning, risk management, and reporting processes
- Monitor delivery performance, project health, and key metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance
- Support the ongoing development and capability growth of delivery team members
Skills and Experience Required:
- At least 5 years' experience in Agile delivery, project management, or a related leadership role
- Proven experience leading and mentoring delivery teams in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
- Experience managing project governance, delivery risks, resources, and delivery metrics
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and leadership capabilities
- Experience using project and delivery management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
