Chapter Lead – Delivery

Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Position: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chapter Lead – Delivery to lead our delivery practice and support the successful delivery of projects and products across multiple teams. This is a full-time (40 hours), permanent position - a leadership role responsible for driving delivery excellence, promoting agile best practices, and ensuring alignment between delivery outcomes and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters
  • Champion Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices
  • Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders to align delivery activities with business goals
  • Oversee delivery governance, project planning, risk management, and reporting processes
  • Monitor delivery performance, project health, and key metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance
  • Support the ongoing development and capability growth of delivery team members

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years' experience in Agile delivery, project management, or a related leadership role
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring delivery teams in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
  • Experience managing project governance, delivery risks, resources, and delivery metrics
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and leadership capabilities
  • Experience using project and delivery management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
