Susan and Hayden run a tight, happy team of approximately 17 electricians and apprentices, and they are looking for someone who genuinely wants to live in the Goldfields and be part of the team long-term. No FIFO, no mining rosters, no eyeing a mine site job down the track.
You will be working across domestic and commercial electrical projects in Kambalda West and Kalgoorlie, covering repairs, maintenance, safety inspections, quoting, and minor works across a wide variety of clients and site types. No two days are the same and the expectation is that you can work independently and represent the business well in front of clients.
Whether you call yourself a sparky, electrician, licensed electrician, or electrical contractor, the core requirement is the same: solid domestic and commercial electrical experience and a genuine desire to put down roots in the Goldfields.
Day to day you will be across:

- Current WA Electrical Licence or NZ equivalent, non-negotiable, NZ licence transfers to WA in approximately 7 to 10 working days
- National Police Certificate required, screen for this early
- Current White Card and manual driver's licence, both required
- Proven domestic and commercial electrical experience across repairs, maintenance, and minor works
- Genuine willingness to live in the Goldfields long-term, FIFO or short-term mentality will not work here
- This role is not for candidates with mining ambitions, Susan was explicit about this
