Work is contracted through to the end of 2028 with a further pipeline already being designed beyond that. With 43 tradespeople on the team and 10 to 15 year tenure common among senior staff, this is a company that looks after its people for the long haul.
  • Earn 45 to 60 AUD per hour on permanent wages depending on experience plus 12% super
  • Overtime at time and a half after 38 hours in the cycle, double time after 10 hours on any single day
  • Saturdays at time and a half for the first 2 hours, double time after that
  • Work secured until the end of 2028 with a strong pipeline already being built beyond that
  • RDO every fourth Friday built into the roster

The Role

You will be based in Banyo, Brisbane, working across medium to large scale multi-residential construction projects in the Brisbane CBD and inner suburbs. This is commercial and multi-residential HVAC installation work on serious developments for major property developers. The expectation is that you can read mechanical services drawings, work independently on site, and contribute positively to a large, professional team.
Whether you call yourself an HVAC installer, refrigeration mechanic, refrigeration technician, air conditioning installer, or AC mechanic, the core requirement is the same: a current ARCtick licence, proven installation experience, and a genuine team-first attitude.
Day to day you will be across:
  • Installing DX units, VRF and VRV systems, and refrigerant pipework in multi-storey buildings
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical services drawings and equipment schedules
  • Working across major Brisbane CBD and inner suburb development sites
  • Commissioning and testing installed HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Working collaboratively as part of a large, professional trade team
  • Contributing to quality outcomes on premium multi-residential developments
What We Need
  • Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and current ARCtick Licence, non-negotiable
  • Current White Card and valid driver's licence, both required
  • Experience installing DX units, VRF and VRV systems, and refrigerant pipework in commercial or multi-residential buildings strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical services drawings and equipment schedules
  • Positive attitude and genuine willingness to work as part of a team, Dan's number one filter
  • Genuine commitment to relocating to Brisbane long-term
