Job Location: Auckland

Type: Permanent, Full time  

Days required: Rotating roster, including weekends 

Hours per week: 30 to 40 hours per week 

Hourly Pay: $25-$35 per hour  

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hairdresser to join our professional salon team. The successful candidate will provide a wide range of hairdressing services and, when required, assist with beauty therapy services to support overall salon operations.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Consulting with clients regarding hairstyles, hair care and beauty products. 
• Shampooing, conditioning and treating hair and scalp conditions. 
• Cutting, trimming and styling hair using scissors, razors and clippers. 
• Colouring, bleaching, highlighting, straightening, perming and applying other chemical hair treatments. 
• Creating a variety of hairstyles including braiding, up styling and hair extensions. 
• Providing advice on hair maintenance and aftercare, skincare and beauty products
• Maintaining cleanliness of workstations and sanitising tools and equipment. 
• Managing client appointments and processing payments. 
• Assisting with the sale of salon products and services.
  

To Apply:  

You must be either a New Zealand Citizen / Resident or on a valid visa and able to work full time. 

• Either two years of Experience or relevant Level 4 qualification 

• Experience in beauty therapy services will be an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Sound knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling and chemical treatments
