We are seeking a professional B2B Sales Representative based at our Head Office at Havelock North.

 

 

Job Title: Sales Representative

Job Location: This role is based at our Head Office at 3/14 Donnelly Street, Havelock North 4130

Type: Permanent, Full-time, hours of work set as 40 hours per week (minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed)

Work Hours: 8 hours per day regularlly between 8:30am to 5pm (business needs may require you to work until 7pm occasionally), Monday to Friday

Salary & Remuneration
· Base Salary: $55,000 per annum base
· Commission: Uncapped commission structure paying 10% of Betta's portion of sales per job acquired and completed.
· Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE): $66,000 – $85,000+ per annum for motivated performers who consistently meet their volume targets.

Reports to: Customer Services Manager

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to undertake outbound sales to generate business from new, existing, or lost clients. You will focus on launching our product to the market while increasing sales within our existing property inspection and compliance offerings. This role requires the ability to quickly build and develop relationships across a targeted portfolio. You will act as the primary sales generator, with a secondary focus on account management. We are a technology-driven business using the Microsoft suite; we require enthusiasm for using technology to maximize lead efficiency.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The position includes the following duties and responsibilities, and any duties and responsibilities reasonably incidental to those:

·         Targeted Outbound Sales: Focus on outbound calling to meet and exceed growth targets and KPIs.

·         Technical Quoting & Proposals: Generate pricing proposals while educating customers on our specialized building inspection and compliance services.

·         CRM Management: Maintain accurate records within the company’s CRM system.

·         Channel Strategy: Design, develop, and deploy strategies in line with the company sales strategy.

·         Relationship Building: Conduct online meetings to build strong, lasting relationships.

·         Conversion Optimization: Implement strategies to increase sales conversion rates.

·         Market Analysis: Undertake research and competitor analysis to determine trends and threats in the property sector.

·         Compliance: Comply with all relevant policies and follow management guidance.

 

Requirements
To ensure service quality and technical accuracy, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Key Experience

·         A minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience is mandatory (essential for managing our business-to-business portfolio);

·         Professional knowledge of property inspection, building systems or construction is preferred to accurately explain our compliance services to clients.

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

·         Be able to represent the company well in all written and oral communication 

·         Demonstrate confidence communicating with a variety of internal and external clients.

·         A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·         High level of sales skills, techniques and experiences in outbound cold calling.

·         Ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders in the property industry.

·         Proven resilience and a proactive, self-starter approach to problem-solving.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally Microsoft Dynamics Sales or similar CRM.

·         A team player with a positive attitude and a desire to grow with the company.
