Role Overview

You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that strengthen the Clear Digital brand, generate qualified leads for our sales team, and support our network of trade partners and resellers.

 

You will work closely with the General Manager and our team, taking ownership of our digital presence, content marketing, campaigns, and trade marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a technical B2B environment and is excited by the security and smart technology sector.

 

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Brand

           Develop and manage Clear Digital's digital marketing strategy across all channels, including website, email, LinkedIn, and social media

           Maintain and improve the company website (cleardigital.co.nz), ensuring content is current, accurate, and optimised for search (SEO/SEM)

           Create and schedule engaging content including product spotlights, industry news, case studies, and technical updates

           Monitor and report on digital marketing performance using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, HubSpot)

 

Campaign Management

           Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned to product launches, seasonal promotions, and key industry events

           Coordinate with supplier/manufacturer marketing teams to leverage co-op marketing budgets and brand assets

           Manage email marketing campaigns including EDMs to trade partners and resellers

 

Trade & Partner Marketing

           Develop marketing collateral and sales enablement materials for the trade channel (product brochures, spec sheets, presentation decks)

           Support trade events, expos, and customer training days — including logistics, promotional materials, and post-event communications

           Build relationships with manufacturer marketing contacts to align on joint campaigns and promotional activities

 

Content & Communications

           Write and edit compelling copy for digital and print channels, adapting technical product information into clear customer-facing content

           Manage internal and external communications including newsletters, announcements, and social posts

           Produce video and visual content (or brief external suppliers) to support product demonstrations and brand storytelling

 

Reporting & Strategy

           Track, analyse, and report on marketing activity performance against agreed KPIs

           Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to inform product and pricing strategy

           Manage marketing budget spend, ensuring cost-effective use of resources

 

Qualifications & Experience

           at least two years of experience in a relevant role, ideally within a B2B, technology, or trade/distribution environment

           Proven ability to plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns from brief to execution

           Strong copywriting and content creation skills — able to translate technical specifications into engaging, audience-appropriate language

           Solid understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, email marketing platforms, CMS)

           Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating marketing collateral

           Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

           Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident working with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Desirable

           Experience in the security, surveillance, AV, or electrical wholesale/distribution industry

           Familiarity with trade channel marketing and reseller/partner ecosystems

           Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and marketing automation

           Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

           Mandarin language skills advantageous (not required)
