GROUP OPERATIONS MANAGER
Smart Genie Limited is a growing management company providing strategic, operational and administrative support to a diversified group of businesses operating across retail, fuel, hospitality, transport, logistics, cleaning and property sectors throughout New Zealand.
We are seeking an experienced Group Operations Manager to oversee the performance, systems and growth of multiple businesses within our group.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations across multiple group companies
• Develop and implement operational systems and procedures
• Monitor business performance and KPI reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and business planning
• Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development
• Ensure compliance with employment, health and safety and operational requirements
• Liaise with managers and external stakeholders
• Prepare monthly reports for directors
• Assist with acquisitions and integration of new businesses
Requirements:
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Experience managing multiple business functions
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years relevant administration experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
