About the Role

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Multimedia Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, producing, and maintaining multimedia content and digital resources to support the company’s dance programmes, performances, workshops, community events, branding, marketing activities, and online engagement.

The successful candidate will create and manipulate computer animation, audio, video, photography, graphics, and other digital media files to produce multimedia presentations, website content, interactive digital resources, promotional materials, and online learning content. The role will also involve maintaining website and digital platform content using multimedia software, authoring tools, content management systems, and related web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and produce multimedia products for dance programmes, performances, workshops, showcases, community events, promotional campaigns, and online learning resources.

• Create, edit, and manipulate video, audio, animation, photography, graphics, visual effects, and text to produce cohesive multimedia content and digital experiences.

• Produce and edit performance videos, promotional videos, event highlights, student showcase materials, digital advertisements, and educational multimedia resources.

• Develop animation, motion graphics, visual effects, titles, transitions, and digital design elements for multimedia presentations, videos, online resources, and digital campaigns.

• Capture, edit, and process photography, video, and audio materials for use across multimedia projects, websites, digital platforms, and online learning resources.

• Combine audio, video, animation, graphics, images, and text into interactive multimedia materials suitable for websites, digital learning resources, presentations, and audience engagement activities.

• Develop multimedia presentations and digital resources to support dance education, programme promotion, student engagement, performances, workshops, and community events.

• Prepare multimedia files in appropriate formats for websites, social media platforms, digital screens, online learning resources, and other digital publication channels.

• Use multimedia software, authoring tools, content management systems, digital publishing tools, and file management systems to create, manage, publish, and maintain multimedia content.

• Maintain and update website multimedia content and digital pages to support programme information, event promotion, online engagement, and digital learning resources.

• Assist with website and digital content improvement projects, including multimedia integration, content structure, usability, and user experience enhancement.

• Coordinate with website service providers or digital platform administrators where required in relation to multimedia publishing, website functionality, content updates, and technical maintenance.

• Organise, maintain, and manage multimedia files, digital assets, production resources, footage libraries, image libraries, and project archives.

• Ensure all multimedia materials are visually engaging, technically effective, brand-aligned, and suitable for the intended platform, audience, and purpose.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification. Qualifications in Multimedia, Digital Media, Interactive Media, Information Technology, Creative Technologies, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Film and Video Production, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

• At least five years of relevant experience in multimedia production, digital media development, video production, animation, web content development, digital learning content production, or related multimedia roles.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and manipulating video, audio, animation, photography, graphics, and other digital media files for websites, digital platforms, presentations, or online resources.

• Proficiency in multimedia and digital production software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent software.

• Experience using website content management systems, multimedia authoring tools, online publishing tools, and digital asset management systems.

• Knowledge of video production, animation, graphic design, image editing, digital content development, website content publishing, and multimedia integration.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
