ExtraStaff is currently seeking reliable, experienced Class 4 and Class 5 Truck Drivers to join our Auckland talent pool. We work with a range of well-established construction, civil, infrastructure, and industrial clients who regularly require skilled drivers to support their projects.

About the Role:

 

You'll be working across a range of sites and projects throughout Auckland, carrying out duties such as:

 

  • Operating Class 4 and Class 5 trucks safely and efficiently


 

  • Transporting materials, equipment, and construction supplies between sites


 

  • Completing pre-start vehicle checks and basic maintenance inspections


 

  • Loading and unloading materials when required


 

  • Assisting site crews with general labouring and hands-on tasks during quieter periods]


 

  • Following delivery schedules and site instructions


 

  • Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety at all times


 

 

No two days are the same, offering plenty of variety and the chance to work with some of Auckland's leading contractors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Previous experience driving Class 4 and/or Class 5 trucks


 

  • A positive attitude and willingness to get involved with site work when needed


 

  • Experience working in construction, civil, or industrial environments is highly regarded


 

  • Ability to work safely and follow instructions


 

  • Reliable, hardworking, and physically fit


 

  • Own transport and valid NZ work rights


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Current Full Class 4 or Class 5 New Zealand Driver Licence


 

  • Willing to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test


 

  • Physically fit and capable of assisting with manual tasks when required


 

  • Legal right to work in New Zealand


 

  • Site Safe or ConstructSafe (preferred but not essential)
